North Carolina’s new Governor, Beverly Perdue gets sworn in on Saturday, becoming the first female governor for the state. I didn’t vote for her, and I don’t agree with her politics, but a first anything is usually something worth celebrating.
Israel is finally retaliating against Hamas for the tens of rockets that were lobbed daily into Israel, and for some reason a lot of people want to say that Israel is wrong. My stance is that if there were people in Mexico launching tens of rockets into the US every day, we would invade Mexico, so I have no problem with what Israel is doing.
One of PEBO’s (President Elect Barack Obama) cabinet picks has recounted his selection, due to investigations into his character. Is it just me or is this guy surrounded by corruption?
Global sea ice levels are now equal to those recorded 29 years ago. So much for Global Warming.

This is due to decreased revenue from gas taxes, resulting from more fuel efficient cars, and American’s driving less. First of all, I’m totally uninterested in paying by the mile. Secondly, I don’t want the government to be able to know where I’m at at all times.
The UFC is scheduled to hold six events in the next ten weeks, meanwhile T-Shirt guy has yet to put on his second event, though one is scheduled for January 24th. Yeah, they’re gonna bring down the UFC real soon. Also, I’m glad I never bought one of their over priced shirts.
I forgot one thing. Thursday is the game to decide the NCAA disputed champion. Florida will be facing Oklahoma, as a result ESPN has several stories about the different teams. One story in particular caught my attention, its about Tim Tebow and the fact that he is the Christian he says he is.
